Must I buy books for classes?
This is largely dependant on the course, most courses supply all materials necessary, for group courses or specialised courses you can buy the book through Jardin Culturel.
When and how much do I have to pay for my registration?
The payment for the courses is done during your registration, there are various methods of payment, cheque, cash or credit card, and payment plans depending on the course format and your personal preferences/options: you can find more details of the payments on our general conditions of sale page.
How can we pay for the course?
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), by check, in cash and by bank transfer (preferred during monthly subscriptions).
Currently, we do not accept American Express.
How much do courses cost?
I wish to cancel my registration. How can I do this?
Any notice of withdrawal, cancellation or cancellation must be served by email or letter at least 7 working days before you intend to stop the service.

What happens if I have to leave (work, holidays, emergencies)? Can the courses be retained?
When you are away for one week (sick), there is no postponement of lessons or refunds. However, you can ask your teacher the lesson of the course to be able to follow the next course.
When you are absent more than 15 days, you must inform us as soon as possible. The course hours will be postponed and added to the end of your contract. Monthly payments are maintained even if the end date of the course is moved back.
Individual course and Duo courses
We adapt to your schedule. However, to progress, it is necessary to keep a regular course schedule, long disruptions can cause real problems in learning.
Do you prepare for the TOEIC, TOEFL, LinguaSkill, BULATS or IELTS exams…?
We prepare candidates for the various Cambridge English tests and exams.
In July 2017, the Jardin Culturel became a BULATS certified exam centre!
For degree exams in Cambridge, you can pass them as a free candidate during sessions of our partner, Institut Catholique Français.
We also prepare you for the TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS and ETS Global certification tests.
We take care of your registration with the award centres after having agreed on a date together.
How can I know my progress?
We have put in place regular tests to evaluate your progress throughout your course.
A level test before your registration, a test-control during your training (if training is equal to or greater than 3 months) and a test at the end of your training. This last test is written and/or oral according to your objectives.
What happens if my group’s level is too high or too low compared to me?
The entry test determines your level and allows us to put you in a group of an appropriate level. However, if you feel uncomfortable or on the contrary if you see that you feel you are not making progress, talk to your teacher or the administrative department.
It is very important to us that you feel comfortable and that your learning is going well.
In some cases, we may offer you another level group or a set of cheaper individual courses to boost your level.
Will I have a certificate at the end of the course?
The Jardin Culturel issues you a certificate at the end of training mentioning your course, the duration, the level reached in reference to the CEFR, your attendance and the final evaluation given by your teacher.
If you wish, you can also take the LinguaSkill (BULATS) test in our Language Center regardless of your status, student or active.
We are currently in the process of obtaining the status to offer French TEF and/or DFP tests that are recognized by the French government.
When can I start my classes?
For extensive and individual courses you can start at any time you wish.
For intensive French courses, you have specific starting times. So please contact us to make sure that there are spaces available.
How can I register for a course?
You can register for an individual course by completing this registration form and our extensive group courses by completing this form.

A free and compulsory test is required to assess your level. Subsequently, a free trial class is offered before your final registration.
What are your opening hours?
The Jardin Culturel is open from Monday to Friday from 9h00 to 21h00.
We also offer individual lessons on Saturdays from 10h00 to 16h00.
How many students are there per group?
For extensive group courses it is 4 people minimum – 8 people maximum per course.
For intensive daytime courses, it is a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 9.
Are you open during school holidays and public holidays?
The Jardin Culturel is a private language center and remains open during school holidays. We close our doors for two weeks ONLY during the Christmas holidays (mid-December-early January).
However, we are closed on public holidays such as Labor Day, Easter Monday etc.
Scheduled courses on holidays are postponed but not reimbursed.
Do you offer activities outside of the classroom?
The Jardin Culturel offers conversation sessions that allow you to acquire even more fluency in spoken English and French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
