Hello,
It is with great regret that I write this, however, due to the crisis brought about by the pandemic, the Jardin Culturel has been forced into liquidation. With the various restrictions and reduction of business caused by COVID-19 over seven months, this was sadly the only real option remaining.
Over the seven years we were open, Jardin Culturel became more than a training centre or language school but a real community. Of course, it was a place where people sought knowledge, entertainment, and independence by learning another language. But more importantly, it was a place where people came to relax, laugh and share a moment, talk, and connect with other people.
If you’re reading this, it means that you were part of the community that made it such a welcoming, friendly, warm and unique place and I want to thank you so much for contributing to that. Thousands of people over the years have passed through the Jardin Culturel’s doors from students to retirees and representing every possible profession. We want to thank you all for your trust and patronage over the years. We couldn’t have lasted as long as we did without your kindness and support.
Although the Jardin Culturel is closing this website will remain. On it you’ll find a list of all the staff who made Jardin Culturel such a fantastic place, a list of conversation and language exchange groups that are active in Toulouse, a gallery of some of the events we hosted, the free language resources we’ve found over the years and a list of testimonials.
Finally, if you have any photos, stories or anything you’d like to share, just contact us and we will be happy to add it.
With my most sincere thanks, from the bottom of my heart,
James TYRRELL,
Gérant – Jardin Culturel 2013-2020
