FOUNDER AND GENERAL MANAGER

James Tyrrell

A British native from the south-west of England, who worked as a professional software developer for many years working in the financial sector, finally decided to change his life and try new things. Obtained his teaching credentials and has prepared hundreds of students for the TOEIC and taught English in a variety of enterprises in Toulouse including IBM, DGAC, ENAC, La Banque Postale and many more!

Sabine Henderson

An American native from SF California, heavily involved with the high-tech and medical insurance industry in the United States she moved to France 3 years ago to try and find a different direction for her career. With years of experience in giving interviews professional technical writing and more recently preparing students for complex English exams including IELTS, TOEIC. With a long history of Internet and administration history she helps keep Jardin Culturel on track.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

Elodie Azouz

Originally from Toulouse, I graduated with an LEA degree in English, Japanese and International Trade. I joined Jardin Culturel after having accumulated over 2 years of experience abroad (London and Edinburgh).
I like discovering new cultures and sharing mine with new students.

Lauren Lapage

Lover of cinema, literature and cats, Lauren came to Toulouse a year ago from Austin, Texas. She is fluent in french thanks to a year spent studying in Pau. Lauren has a variety of work experience including working as a florist for several years and she also worked on the set of Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof. Since graduating from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in English and French, she came to Toulouse and completed her TEFL certification. Along with teaching English, she enjoys reading, writing, and meeting new people.

Pauline DUIGOU

I was born in Toulouse and have recently obtained my FLE with the l’Alliance Française in Paris. I was the Director’s assistance at the théâtre Jules-Julien for 5 years and the Opéra du Capitole for 1 year. I lived in Bristol (UK) and I love this city. I like Star Wars, table tennis and comics.

Dumont-Schiex

I discovered FLE teaching by working as a volunteer in Toulouse associations and fell in love with it, so I took courses to get the DAEFLE (diploma of aptitude for teaching French as a foreign language) from the Alliance Française de Paris. After that I got more experience working as a FLE teacher in Toulouse training centres and universities.

I have lived in Chile (My second homeland), the United States and Brazil.

Mélissa Octave

Passionate about my language, different cultures and learning styles, I obtained a Master degree in FLE didactics, which opened the doors to teaching my language and culture in France and abroad.
Dynamic and curious, I had the opportunity to travel to different countries, including New Zealand and Australia in the last two years. Music and dance punctuate my free time. I also like comedy, swimming and walks in nature.

FLE TRAINER

Lydia Isabelle Bordese

I have been teaching French for 18 years in language schools, businesses and to individuals. I’ve worked in England (7 years), German-speaking Switzerland (1 year) and Denmark (3 years) with additional experience in teaching Italian and literacy. Patient, creative and open-minded, with very good interpersonal skills, I’m also a musician, singing and playing in my spare time.

Kay Fenech

My name is Kay and I am Maltese/Canadian. I have a degree in Photojournalism from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, where I lived for three years. I also have a TEFL certificate and have been teaching English as a foreign language on and off for around eight years. I enjoy travelling and meeting new people from all over the world, which is one of the main reasons why I like teaching English!

Jérémy Piquemal

Coming from the south of France and graduate with a Bachelor in Business and Management from “Ecole de Gestion et de Commerce” (EGC) at Rodez CCI, he brings a french touch at the Jardin Culturel. With a lot of internships in diferents companies and experiences of salesman and demonstrator in a exhibition stand, he is in charge of the communication, cients and also the administrative part. He speaks French, English and Spanish. he enjoys music, cinema and meet new people from a little bit everywhere.
